Dev34 is a Cape Town-based property development and asset management firm with a focused mandate: to help investors maximise the performance of their property investments. Dev34 drives value for investors by optimising capital expenditure and operating costs, and by balancing the short-term requirements of the market with the long-term nature of development. The firm is headquartered at 105 Hope Street, Cape Town, positioned within the city’s central business and development corridor. Dev34 is not a traditional developer building for end-users. It is structured specifically around the investor, designing, developing, and managing assets with a singular focus on yield, capital growth, and operational efficiency. Every decision, from site acquisition to design specification to operator selection, is filtered through the lens of investor return. At the heart of Dev34 is a high-performing team united by belief in their mission, vision, and leadership, forming a group of tenacious achievers driven to create world-class assets. The firm is led by Jarryd Lurie. The Salvo is delivered alongside co-developer and Head Architect Jarred Pincus. Jarred is an architect and development professional with a strong foundation from the University of the Witwatersrand and extensive experience across leading firms including Paragon Group, where he rose to Associate, and Quorum Holdings, the developer behind landmark hospitality and lifestyle assets such as Lady Backs and Charlie & the Chairman. He brings a design-led yet commercially grounded approach, combining architectural expertise with a deep understanding of development strategy, urban design, and asset performance. His experience spans listed REITs, student accommodation, green building performance, and the broader South African commercial property market, positioning him at the intersection of design, development, and investment.
